Sam Raimi Slated to Direct Blizzard’s World of Warcraft?! Where’s Spidey 4 Going to Be Now?

Looks like news just broke out that Mr. Sam Raimi of the Spider-man movies and the latest comedy horror flick, Drag Me To Hell, will be on the directorial chair for Blizzards highly successful and addictive MMO game, World Of Warcraft. It has been rumored that Sam Raimi wanted to direct the movie adaptation of the famous book, The Hobbit, but that seem to have been given to a different person, darn you Guillermo Del Toro! On a positive note it looks like Sam Raimi will finally get his toe wet in the legendary mytical realm of Earth through directing the new World of Warcraft movie, and although I don’t play the game, I’m definitely excited to see what Mr. Raimi can do with this flick. Orcs, Elves, Humans, and the Undeads, seem to make a pretty great line-up for a great flick, at least I hope so.
