Today’s art spotlight is Yuko Shimizu, a Japanese artist/designer. Her illustrations and paintings are full of girls in deep symbolic depiction. Yuko mostly sends out an empowering message to all the girls out there, really inspirational stuff. A lot of her painting seems intent to obscure our thoughts and power to comprehend it’s meaning, but if seen in a open-mind and acceptance you will begin to understand the message conveyed. I enjoy Yuko Shimizu work a lot! She’s a huge inspiration for me.
