Ah, there comes a time in every man’s life when you have to make a decision. For Mario, it’s whether to choose his first love taken away by Donkey Kong, Pauline, or his infatuation as of late with a princess that Bowser has continually captured, Princess Peach.
Asside from that delema, this illustration was created by the one the only Michael Mayne (AKA: maniac086), yes, the man who also created the Indiana Jones themed Zelda! His illustrations are really keeping me anxious of what he’s going to come up next, especially after seeing such a diverse range of style in his illustrations.
