why are you afraid of failing? if you haven’t started, you failed already… So go get it! – Loyal K.N.G.’s Find Your Love. Part 1

There’s this common issue that we all face at least once in our lives and it’s the fear of failing. Nothing is more frightening to some of us than being rejected a success to an idea that we poured our heart, passion, and hard work into. At the root of this fear stems the idea that if we fail, then that project that we placed our time and energy into isn’t the path we were meant to take. And that fear grows its roots deeper when that project happens to be something we are truly passionate about, such as our dreams, ambitions, and goals. To fail would literally mean we would have to suffer through the harsh grind of life, which are usually the dreaded uncreative/unstimulating 9-to-5 jobs. These are the jobs we are forced to take to pay our bills, to fund our luxuries and fun activities.

So this fear of failing traps us subconsciously without us being aware of it. We get into the situation where we just don’t start our projects at all in fear of not being able to successfully expand on our ideas fully which could lead to its failure. And even if we have the will to start up a project, we usually hold ourselves back through procrastination, waiting for the right opportunities to arrive, or blaming our busy schedule.

We mentally poison ourselves through these fear and worries… We become our own worst enemy. We end up never starting our projects and fall into our own fears and become intertwined with the rat race. And that in itself is already failing.

At the foundation of going after what we believe in, we have to believe in ourselves. We were all given talents and unique experiences to fuel our creative minds. It’s a matter of having self-confidence, bravery, and a little bit of wise-foolishness. Sometime we just have to face up to our fears and prove them wrong. We have to use all our energy, make all the free time, gather all our resources and connects, to bring our ideas to life. At all costs, we must go head first and chase our dreams endlessly. Because the truth of the matter is, we will always come away from our attempted projects with success, even in failure. Mistakes will be made, hard times will be experienced, but we will be one-step a head of where we came from. And that is the key to success. Success isn’t a certain spot you find yourself in; it’s a never ending journey. So start on your dreams, work on your ideas, and make the best of your life.
