During our trip to Houston TX for the bi-annual Sneaker Summit event, we met up with a few great local brands from the area, such as Remix Label, Grits Apparel, and 3Kings. I’ve ran into these great guys a few time through previous events and show, so it was super-chill catching them all under one building at the H-town Sneaker summit. This write-up is a special shout-outs to these Houston greats for hooking us here at Loyal K.N.G. with some amazing gear (Read about our Dallas TX Brand Friends here).
So lets get it started:
These amazing shirts with themes playing all the way back to those vintage southern ads back in the old, old days, belongs to Reuben Levi’s brand, Grits Apparel. Reuben’s designs are creative and nostalgic of the old southern era. With “No Grits, No Glory” being the message here, we can tell that Reuben’s Grits Apparel is bringing a fresh flavor to the apparel industry.
Reuben’s personal touch to his packaging and fun extras are a definite plus. The presentation is top-notched here at Grits. Expect to have your order filled with Grit stickers, Garbage Pail kids cards, Grits post cards, and even a super cool Special Edition Grits magazine… Check it below:
The Grits books contains puzzles, games, crosswords, inspirational quotes, and an incredible selection of illustrative art pieces by Reuben, himself. We even got a bunch of cool Grits flyers to hang around our town to get the Grits message out! We got you bro, that’s for sure!

These shirts, which pay homage to TX basketball greats and witty hits on the sneaker posers, belong to my homies, Mike Remix and Jerry Rockit’s brand, Remix Label. These guys are super-chill and cool. We had the pleasure of kicking it with Mike and Jerry for dinner during our stay in Houston TX. It was a good day, and memories were made.
