Every once in a while I will run into an amazing artist that truly inspires me in many different but strong ways, this time around it is the works of Kevin Peterson that strikes a chord within me. His work is full of message in social division of children against the world. The focus and themes are strong, intelligent, and thought-provoking. The realism in his style truly brings out the sense of story and beauty of the subject that he chooses for his paintings. Kevin alludes to many elements of graffiti and street art, which in a way is showing love to the art that possibly inspired his own work.
