Pervy reporting in with another sketchbook of his past! Anyways, here are some of my first real-life figure sketches. It’s amazing what you can learn from just really sketching people. You start to understand the where fat collects and how the different body types really broaden your range of drawing from just simple manikin proportions.
Right after doing some real life proportions, I thought it would be cool to use my newly learned knowledge to draw some more animalistic characters. No references here, so none of these characters are modeled over any real-life animal, other then the duck that is.. Doing this I realized I really needed to work on perspective and the realistic features of the guns and clothing.
Whew, now that’s another little journey in my sketchbook. Pretty soon I might be fast-forwarding you guys to where I am at now. So stay tuned!
