2010 A-Kon 21 Brings Out Anime Vinyl Figurines, Toys, Hellsing, Chun-Li, Darkstalker, Gundam, Mech-Robots & Moar! PART 3

Read Part 1 (Arrival) and Part 2 (Cosplay) of our A-Kon 21 Coverage. Don’t skimp on the small details!

A-Kon 21 was full of all kinds of diverse groups of people dressed up as their favorite characters, ranging from popular anime, old school cartoons, video games characters, to iconic sci-fi movie characters, but this was only one facet of the event. While we were walking through the vendor section of A-Kon, we ran into a table showcasing tons of really detailed vinyl figurines based off of popular anime shows, mech-robots, and video games characters. We made sure to capture photo of most of the figurines to share with you guys, so enjoy!

This Hellsing figurine, was skillfully sculpted with details flowing through every crevices of the figure. You can see a glimpse of the figure from the front in the first photo in this post. And as if it couldn’t get anymore detailed, when you turned the piece to see what laid behind the character’s jacket, a diabolical demon appears. These extra details truly make this figure a must for any fan of the anime show.

I believe this figurine is of a female fighter character off of the popular fighting game, “Kings of Fighters.”

Of course, no collection is complete without Sailor Moon on your front counter!

I’m not sure which anime this figure is from, but still pretty cool.

Chun-Li of Street Fighter fame even made it to the figurine party.

Ahh, the Tifa figurine!

Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft even made it to the mix.
