I have already done a previous post covering the actual Sneakend event (here), but I didn’t really cover the cool folks we met up there, so this post will do just that.
We live about 2 hours away, and it was brought to my attention by one of my friend, Alaric Arro, that this sneaker event was dropping in Dallas called Sneakend. He suggested the crew go and just check out the place, the culture, and just meet the people running the joint. It wouldn’t be long before we were about to embark into a fun-filled-hilarious day-out with the cool folks who got this entire event together.
The first photo above is none other than THE FUR FACE BOY himself. You may be wondering what he looks like, but that’s just a mystery within itself! I know what he looks like though, but if you guys want to know than find out how on his blog here. Oh and Fur Face Boy got some super-legit t-shirts, so while you are finding ways to take a peek at the mysterious Fur Face Boy you can go to his store and check out his clothing line!
This here is Nelson Howard, he’s a pastor, but doubles as one of the owner of the Dallas street-wear store, Adikt (click here 4 more info)! So if you live in the area check it out.
Now if you are a really big sneaker-head, than you no doubt have heard about this guy right here…. Matt Halfhill of Nicekicks.com. Yep, he’s chief editor of one of the largest online publication of up and coming sneaker information. Matt is opening up his storefront in Austin TX on February 27th, 2010. So if you are in the area check that out… Who knows we might do that ourselves!
Checkity check it! It’s the crew of Index Skateboarding Shop! They are one of the special retail store that will be selling Vans’ “Vault” Collection new shoe lines, which are extremely exclusive, and Index has it on lock! Only at Index in Dallas, TX.
This dude right here is none other than Franalations! He flew all the way from California to be one of the sponsors of this Sneakend event, and it was such a pleasure to kick it with this dude! His knowledge, and not to mention his sneaker collections are off the charts! If you follow the sneaker-information highway, than you have no doubt heard about Franalation through his super-popular sneaker review video-logs on his youtube account, Franalations. If you haven’t heard of him, than get to knowing him.
This here is Mr. Famous, DJ Greg Street. This dude came with major heat. The shoe he is holding in that photo is literally ONE of three pairs of exclusive Nike Air sneakers. Yea, sonny, that shoe cost more than your car, and probably your entire college tuition.
