So after the passing of our January 2nd, 2010, event, we here at Loyal K*N*G has got the performances recorded and ready to be seen and enjoyed! Loyal K*N*G and the local Longview, Texas, David’s Ambassadors (D.A.) dance crew have spent the last 2 months (Nov-Dec) preparing for this big event to push the clothing line and the local talented dance crew into the spotlight. And I am very proud to say that with all the help from everyone involved, the Event was a modest success!
We performed the event in two separate shows on January 2nd, 2010. Our first show had nearly 150 plus people attending, which was a staggering amount for us when we were only hoping for 100 attendees. Our second show was also equally packed. Overall, we had nearly 250+ attendees dropping by the event. This experience gave us a lot of lessons in management of a high-profile local event. We made many mistakes on our first show, but we quickly remedied the issues on our second and finished off with a bang! All the attendees were ecstatic to see such a unique event popping out of nowhere in such a small East Texas town. After all, that was our goal straight from the get-go, to bring out a performance that East Texas has yet to experience!
