Joshua Hoffine is a photographer that takes photographs of all his child hood fears, recreating them in the most humane manner. I was always scared as a little kid when I was ready to go to sleep, wanting to keep the lights on or open the door a little. Those myths of the boogieman, E.T., and the yeti really got to me. Joshua though has brought back those fears from the past, and now I can’t sleep at night. Thanks a lot.
My images are not photoshop collages. I use photoshop to finesse details and to adjust color and contrast for printing.I use friends and family members as actors and crew.Everyone works for free. We do it for fun
