This is a special post today, and it mainly regards a new section of the site that I am proudly opening up to the public.
One of our dreams was to open up Loyal K*N*G as a lifestyle/ t-shirt brand. Or in other words, we just wanted to design and create T-shirts that we felt reflected what we wanted to wear. It was our way of escaping the mainstream of all the clothing and gear from the malls that fed us the mundane and lack of something we felt related with us and what we identify with. So as a solution we started this project so that we all could have something we felt was more in tuned with what we wanted showcased to the world. So ultimately, we are just doing this for fun, because after all if you can’t enjoy what you do what’s the point?
Most of the direction of our designs will all be a flip on past cult/pop culture that we all relate with one way or another. Plus the fact of seeing an idea go from a thought all the way to a tee shirt is something uniquely awesome.
So this is just a passion project of ours that I hope you guys and gals enjoy! Our brand is called Loyal K*N*G and it means Loyal KNOWLEDGE*NEVER*GOES, because at the end of the day the culture we are surrounded by are the things that contribute to our knowledge and while time ages us, our knowledge never goes.
