Call of Duty World at War, Official Linux v1.4 Patch! Treyarch Hasn’t Forgotten You Linux Users Just Yet! ;D

The latest Call of Duty: World at War patch, v1.4, has finally come to the PS3, 360, Windows, and at last Linux. Now, you Linux users can embrace what v1.4 brings to the table: 3 new Multiplayer maps, a new Nazi Zombie map with more weapons, Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses, and many, many more things, to time consuming to copy/paste. 1. Official Call of Duty: WaW Linux v1.2 – v1.4 Patch

Details: Note that if you already have patches 1.1 through 1.3, you can install this patch to get up to date. (In other words, be sure to patch at least up to 1.1 before installing this patch, 1.4.)

  1. – 3 new Multiplayer maps: Kneedeep, Nightfire, Station!
  2. – Nazi Zombies map with more weapons, Perks-a-Cola machines, and electroshock defenses: Verrückt!
  3. – Improved spawning logic.
  4. – Auto balancing improvements. Players are no longer auto balanced while completing objectives.
  5. – Mods: IWD’s can be placed in the usermaps folder.
  6. – Mods: Hold Breath / Sprint functions as intended.
  7. – Mods: MissingAssets.csv is generated when maps are run with developer set to 1.
  8. – Fixed lag caused by shooting at tanks.
  9. – All rifle grenades fired during the first 15 seconds of Search & Destroy will be duds.
  10. – Players who equip a Bouncing Betty and melee teammates in Hardcore game modes are now credited with a team kill penalty.
  11. – Players are now deducted 200 points for team killing the bomb planter/defuser in Hardcore Search & Destroy.
  12. – Martyrdom no longer causes direct impact deaths in Hardcore modes.
  13. – “Bayonet jumping” has been disabled.
