Mighty Morphin Power Ranger TV Show is Cancelled by Disney! OH NOES!
UPDATE: I want to apologize for my quick assumption to the Power Rangers demise, which is totally untrue. Thanks a lot NYPOST for misinforming me!

In fact, Disney is producing a Season 18 and Bandai America will continue to develop action figures and toys for fans and collectors of all ages.
Over the past seventeen years, the Power Rangers have been on Earth, in space, on the moon, under water, traveling through time, in the jungle and anywhere evil lurks. They’ve battled Rita Repulsa, Divatox, Master Org, Dark Spector, Toxica, Jindrax and many more evil-doers – villains who have been shrunk to miniatures, tossed in jail, reduced to ooze or banished. As Bandai America looks to the future, the Power Rangers toy line will continue to morph into action battling against evil.
This is definitely good news.
It’s lights out for our 90′s heroes, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers… I am utterly devastated! One of my favorite television shows of the 1990′s were definitely the Power Rangers, so, for me, this is just depressing. I totally loved the original show and even watched it all the way till the Space season! From the looks of it, the Power Ranger’s toys are selling like hotcakes, but the television show isn’t doing so good. As a result, Disney (current contract holder of Power Ranger) pulled the plug on the Power Rangers… Looks like Lord Zed and Rita Repulsa can sleep in peace now… DAMN YOU DISNEY!

The Power Rangers TV series has got to go! The show itself has often been a piece of crap since it has been copied off to a great extent from a foreign source (Japan). It gets worse season after season and year after year. The Disney Production crew simply continues to waste their time and money on the work that is not even worth investing in. For goodness’ sake, just get rid of it once and for all! Many of us would appreciate it if Disney would take such a step of doing so. Besides, Disney needs to create its own children-and-adult-oriented sci-fi action TV series rather than borrowing any footages and/or props from that of a foreign country.

I am a Power Rangers fan, and have seen 97% of the entire collection of the serieses, and at one time had almost owned the entire zord collection. I have although scaled my zord collection back to those of the Zordon Era (through In Space), I still try to collect the morphers. Power Rangers has been there for me growing up, and in my troubled times. Some have Superman, others OZZY Osbourne, some have the Hills, others 90210, but I had and still have my Power Rangers. They inspired me to persue Technology as a way of life and job. They keep my dreams alive. I, at present, would love to create a zord technology. A device to help in construction, to help survey and explore, to aid in disaster, and if needed protect form HOSTILE beings. Some wanted Star Trek communicators, we got cell phones, view screens, we got LED HDTVs, Food Replicators, we got microwaves. Power Rangers inspires me in the same way, and I hope it inspires you too. And another thought. Ducktales, Duckwing Duck, The Real Ghostbusters, Star Trek Animated Series, and other shows of olden times have been released to DVD Box Sets, when will Disney do the same for The Power Rangers Market. Want profitability, release the originals MMPR PRZ PRT PRIS PRLG PRLR PRTF PRWF PRNS in american english dub, and just watch profits rise, because I would easily throw down $35-$50 for each of the Seasons of the originals, not just what Disney already has, but the full original seasons and the full continuing seasons made by Disney, ALL OF THEM. Power Rangers may belong to Disney, but I want to own the inspiration that made my life important, that sets me forth on a continuing adventure, to protect and explore our universe. If Power Rangers would have to end, at least grant me the DVD Box sets, Please.

I am glad to see Power Rangers, that is Mighty Morphin Power Rangers has been given new life on TV, and I know I should hold my tounge, but I do not like the changes or added graphics packages. I am pleading to have all of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and all of Power Rangers released to DVD, but now I add that I want the origal format released to DVD. I would accept both the old version and the new version together, but if any, the old original would be just fine. AND NO not the Japanese Super Sentai original, the American original from the 90′s. So again I still plead for the release of the original complete seires(es), but do not want the new modifired or revamped versions being aired on ABC Kids Saturday Morning in most markets including mine WTVG Channel 13 ABC. I plead for the original to be released. Thank you.

saban buys power rangers from disney and power rangers will air on nickleodon in 2011
they should create a series with as many of the originals actors (power Rangers) back as they can back in their old original mighty morpihin power rangers costumes. they will then give all the uonger generations a taste of how good the original power rangers were.
