Today’s belated Artist Spotlight of the day is the masterful artist, William-Adolphe Bouguereau. Simply put, Bouguereau style is impeccable. His paintings gives mythic themes it’s photo-realistic illustrations. Not only was Bouguereau paintings full of mythical allusions and symbolism, but his paintings was chock-full of barely clothed women! I can’t blame the guy for wanting to create such beauty constantly.When I look at Bouguereau paintings, I just can’t help but be sucked in too it’s story. I begin to imagine what these painting really means, the story it could possibly reveal to me. These paintings are truly the work of art from it’s exact realism to it’s myth-like scheme, there’s nothing empty about Bouguereau’s canvases.
