Legend Artist: Alex Ross the Man Behind Those Mythic Superman, Batman, and DC Characters Galore Comic Covers!
Today’s artist of the day is the legendary comic aritist of epic proportions, Alex Ross! He is one of the most reknown comic artist of today. Alex Ross’ amazing and beautiful illustrations set the DC’s and occasional Marvel’s superheroes into the realm of photorealism. Ross paintings really set these heroes into real life mythic status. It’s no doubt in my mind that Alex Ross will continue to leave lasting impressions and inspiration to readers and artists a like!

What can you say about Alex Ross’s work but WOW. He is the reason I started doing comic book character paintings.
The guy is probably the most boring artist to ever do comics. If I want reality I’ll go watch one of the badly made movies of these characters instead. His poses are stiff and I can always spot the photos behind the work. He has a very boring style that anybody could learn and I’m not impressed. When is this guy going to become GOOD and CREATE HIS OWN character and come up with some original ideas? A realistic superman isnt hard to pull off folks! When is this guy going to show whats in his heart? Thats what the true legends do!! When he passes people will say Well he did a realistic Batman real good. THATS IT?? NOT GREAT!!!!!!
