Want to spice up your Zombie Mode experience?  Well, with this mod, you can! Giving you more features to look forward to, and a feel of actual variety in playing your favorite maps over and over.

Gamblers Ruin Version 2.00.01: (created by [x] FWCorey)

Welcome to the Gambler’s Ruin MOD/Addon for COD:Waw! The weapons casino is open.
This is a Zombie MOD

This MOD increases the value of all wall-bought items except the bolt-action rifles and pistols. Players must now rely on their luck gambling with the Random Box.

The Random box gives one free spin as a reward for the poor guy that spent the money to open the door. Afterwards, the cost is 100 times the level number and is set every time it closes. Weapons are increasingly rare based roughly on their power.

Boarding up windows/walls costs 10 points/piece on up to 200/piece as the levels progress to 20. Every 5 rounds there is a repair bonus round where barriers dammaged on that round will reward you for repairs.
The difficulty progression for the zombies has also received a slight tweak and ramps up a little sharply.
When you pick up an ammo drop bonus from the zombies, only the player that grabs it gets the ammo.

Flame throwers do slightly less dammage since they are the only weapon with unlimited ammo.

Unlimited Ammo using /sf_use_ignoreammo 1 is punishable by “Zombie Overrun Death” at the end of the level you use it on… But makes a great way to end a game if someone has to go! Wink How long can you last against the Zombie Apocalypse?

In all the game feels more urgent and the player dynamics are shifted quite a bit. I hope you enjoy it.

Installation:
Windows Vista:
Unzip Gamblers_ruin.zip into your “C:\Users\(Your_Username)\local\appdata\Activision\codwaw\mods\” folder

Windows XP:
Unzip Gamblers_ruin.zip into your “C:\Documents and Settings\(Your_Username)\local settings\application data\Activision\codwaw\mods\” folder

Adding it to a custom map.
Copy all of the files except the ReadMe.txt from the Gamblers_Ruin_Beta directory to a directory with a copy of the map you want to add it to. (So you don’t mess up your map if it isn’t compatible) The new directory has to be in the mods directory as well as usual.

If you are hosting the mod on the default map the other players don’t need to have it as long as you all have downloads enabled, but they do need it on any custom map.

Known bugs:

1. When the first player walks up to the box for his free spin the text hint doesn’t work and shows a “SET_ENT…” message. (Total coderoach there and delayed the beta release by 4 days trying to find it. Tongue ) but the chest operates fine.
2. Nobody has managed to make it to level 20 in testing since we all sucked. Wink
