Batman: The Dark Knight Comes & Rapes The Blue-ray/DVD Sales; Wouldn’t Expect Anything Less.
It looks like the release of the Dark Knight has been a Goliath of a sales fest! There are reports out by Warner Bros. stating that Blu-ray sales alone are up in the 600k values. Wow. Just friggin’ wow. I forgot to mention that all of these sales were made on Tuesday, the day of the Dark Knight’s release. The Dark Knight is the movie that keeps truckin’ along. It never takes a break. It’s always breaking through wall after wall of records. It smashes them all along the way. To add to all of that, the number of sales made during the first day of the Dark Knight’s release tallied up to 3 million. These sales were made in the U.S., Canada and the UK. Long live The Dark Knight! What more can I say that hasn’t already been said? Oh yea! That’s right. THE DARK KNIGHT COMETH AND GIVES RAPETH!

I own no DVD’s or Blu-Ray discs, so this will be my first purchase once I scrounge up some cash. It’s one of those things I can watch over and over again.
Right now, with no copy of it, I’m rereading my write-up of the movie to think through particular scenes that still confuse me.
It’s really neat to see so many people are into it, but also kinda depressing that most interpretations of the movie fail to match its intensity and seriousness.

. Lets hope this cash cow will make hollywood realize serioysness and intensity is all that needed to spawn a cash cow like the Dark Knight. We the fan will gladly spend money on quality product… Even when the Dark Knight was ranked number 1 for the most bootlegged bittorrented download, The movie it self Garnered the Respect of fans to actually go out and Spend MONEY for it. Hollywood take note.
Agreed. After this movie, a lot of other things I attempted watching just seemed really crappy. I’m avoiding Bond because the reviews don’t hint at it having the sort of depth where I’d want to think about it.
Roffle I, ironically, wrote a review over Bonds movie when I watched it in the theater… And the reviews are all correct.. Loads of actions lack of depth. Casino Royale is much better.
