Wow, talk about taking a fresh direction through the past! It’s been known that Kanye West is very secretive of his sample sources. But not until now that a fan has taken his time to edit up all the samples and songs that Kanye uses, on his own tracks, mashed together in one crazy cool video. You fans of Kanye will totally dig this video. I know I thoroughly enjoyed it!
It’s quite amazing actually. It takes so much skills and talent to do what Kanye does. He totally makes these sample his own. In some tracks, the sample are incredibly difficult to decipher from their original sources. As a result, this is more of a testament to Kanye‘s artistic mastery over his craft. Rather then bluntly saying, “He stole these songs! He is a copy monster! He has no originality!” I beg to differ, he is a great producer/artist. And if it wasn’t for him these classics would still be buried back in the 70’s and not brought back to our attention in the 00’s.
