Loyal K.N.G. is multi-cultural. We center our clothes around people’s lifestyle, making the cliche term, “lifestyle brand”, more than just a term. With that we get a lot of fans from different backgrounds; from skaters, first class, to Hip-Hop heads, and hipsters. We attract a pretty diverse fan-base. As a result, we always catch all the different ways that our clothing is worn, a few examples which I can’t leave unseen. With that being said, I’m going to do a three part post series of the many ways our beloved Atama, and our other famous designs, are being worn to reflect our different styles.
Street-style.
This is our good friend Prince, he’s a cool friend and fan of LoyalK.N.G. I personally have only met this cat a handful of times, but every time I do, his steez game is always on point. He’s wearing a “Atamahawk” tank, navy blue, with dark khaki slim fitted pants that compliment his Shogun Goodwood. On his feet are black and white low cut Nike dunks to match the shirt’s color palette. The Los Angeles’ Kings snapback along with the all black wayfarer shades completes the street look. This is an example of a street-KNG! The streets is where it’s at, and I don’t say that in a slang way at all, I say it with the thought of the many success stories that all revolved around the stone cold pavement in mind. Many of our Influencers and people we look up to came from the bottom, the street, and are now incredible artist and entrepreneurs. Because of that, this look has been getting lots of eyes lately, with artists that have come up wearing street brands and culture-based gear. So when we see it done with our brand, it brings smiles to our faces.
Skater.
This is talented skateboarder, Greg Diaz. As you can see, he’s rocking the navy blue and red Loyal K.N.G. snapback (backwards) with red type face on a white tee. The red type-face compliments the red bill and accent of the snapback. Greg rocks the black slim fitted jeans as the neutral color along with grey shoes to match the grip of the skateboard. Simple, casual, convenient, and Loyal K.N.G. I got the privilege to work with Greg on our Creative Arts campaign and connected with him almost instantly. He lives his life simply through the passion of art, skateboard, and the love of life. He’s a great guy with big aspirations, which makes this laid-back skater a pleasure to work with. You can peep Greg’s Creative Arts video here.
Simple/Casual Outwear
Don’t want to dress up but still make a statement? Not to worry, Loyal K.N.G. has a style for you. This is Hip-Hop artist, Just Jay, rocking a green “Got Brain” Loyal K.N.G. shirt with a light colored jacket on top. The hat compliments the shirt with it’s grey color while the black jeans acts as the completion for this palette. Notice how the green stays as the dominate color and is used to compliment the other colored-apparel. Just Jay featured this shirt on one of his music videos titled “The Goodness/So Clear.” Trung of Loyal K.N.G. opened me to Just Jay and I couldn’t help but keep listening to Just Jay’s mixtape until I finished it all in one night. Loyal K.N.G. has had the privilege to sponsor this talented artist all the way from Chi-town. Be sure to download his newest mixtape, “Living off Borrowed Beats”, here and watch the video featuring “Got Brain” tee shirt here.
Fair Fax.
Classy, bold, stylish and not to mention it makes a rebel statement. Here we have Loyal K.N.G.’s Thien wearing a red and black billed snapback with a green touch for the bottom part of the bill. When I say “rebel statement”, I mean staying classy while not conforming to the rules. Fair Fax is designed to create a rebellious spin on fashionable wear. Here at Fair Fax, it’s the designers, directors, editors and rebels that make up the definition of classy streetwear. There’s not much Ican say about this style because it’s in the works as we speak… I might have said too much already…crap.
Cute.
Girls, if you want to get a guy to look at you and begin to salivate, then rock the cute look…Loyal K.N.G. style! In this photo of our friend, Colleen, she’s wearing the “Monkey KNG” inspired Atama (red) sweatshirt with black low cut shorts. Simple matching, but it obviously makes a big statement. Through our many endeavors, we’ve gotten a few heat from the ladies saying our style was more geared towards a male-dominant brand, with not a lot of “cute” designs being offerecd. And to that I say, NONSENSE. Girls dig the gear! From those who’ve seen our newest line and from the future project we have ahead of us, I assure you we haven’t forgotten about the ladies.
