This passing weekend we traveled out to Atlanta, Georgia, to be a part of Dj Gregstreet‘s 2011 Sneaker Friends show. This would mark the return of Dj Gregstreet’s sneaker show for the 5th year, and for us it just meant another 13 hour drive. It was a journey I was adamant to make and be involved with. Though the expense was large, I was just hoping to further build exposure in the ATL area. Building off our previous showcase at last year’s Sneaker Friends (read here), expectation was more hopeful for a successful reception.
Sneaker Friend moved it’s venue to a larger location, housed in Atlanta’s Bill Lowes’ Art Gallery. With the new location set, we were ready to set up and connect with all the ATL folks. The crowd came pouring in to catch all the rare sneaker showcased by sneaker collectors from all around the nation. The event provided a great environment for folks to come through and enjoy the great sneaker-culture on a more intimate level.
Our buddy, Mills, came through to grab some photos of the new line!
