We just recently traveled out to Frisco, TX, to pick up some shelves from IKEA to add to our office. And while we were out and about in Frisco, we made sure to visit the local In N Out burger resturant to try out our first double-double burger coupled with animal fries. It’s important to note that in the entirety of Texas, Frisco is the only city currently hosting an opened In N Out. So it goes without saying that the cult burger joint from California garnered massive attention from folks all around the Dallas area. People were lined up around the block with folks wrapping around the building. The drive-in was equally chaotic with cars winding in and out of the drive-way.
I have never witnessed such a huge response for a fast food restaurant before, which begs the question as to why In N Out has such a powerful customer base. In N Out is known for just being a regular fast food burger joint with a menu selection of ONLY 4 items, the hamburger, double-double, drinks, and french fries. This simple menu layout may be the biggest reason why In N Out has such a huge cult following. There’s no dilution in the In N Out brand. The company just focuses on what it originally set out to be great at creating, the delicious hamburgers. Along with the simple selections, In N Out has a secret menu of special variation of the items presented on the menu, most of which are discovered through word-of-mouth. A definite marketing strategy that makes the In N Out experience that much more interesting and unique.
The line is crazy.
And crazier.
The outside In N Out patio.
Inside peek at the restaurant.
The supply truck even does a great job at advertising for the In N Out restaurant.
The simple menu… I’ll take the double-double.
Make it 2 double-double…
And a side of ANIMAL fries.
Yummy!
Family fun-time out at In N Out!
Chomping up everything one morsel at a time.
