Last Friday we released a last minute invitation for our new Loyal K.N.G. lookbook set to go down on the following day in Dallas TX. So with literally half a day’s notice before the shoot was set, I was unsure of who would drop by to spend their evening with us. To my surprise, we had over 50 friends come in throughout the day to party and model for us. It was an unbelievable experience, and I couldn’t feel more blessed and humbled by it.
Loyal K.N.G. has always been a very community driven brand. The crew and I have traveled out to many shows and events throughout our brand’s journey, and that allows us to connect with tons of friends from different area of culture and interests. The photoshoot brought out friends from as far back as our first show slinging shirts, to people of all varying talents such as DJs, artists, bboys, dancers, rappers, and more. It was an amazing experience to see all our supporters gathering from all around Dallas/Fort Worth area in support of us. Our homies came as far off as Richardson, Fort Worth, Garland, Irving, and Grand Prairie, and the funny thing is, we all live in a small city called Longview (two hours east of Dallas).
Shout out to all the of our friends who came out and showed us LOVE. You guys make everything we do, all the hard work, all the sleepless night, and all the difficult obstacles worth it.

John, Shakespeare, Tanjim, Sunny, and Daniel all chilling in the early afternoon for the shoot! John and Shakespeare are hip-hop artists who makes up Too Deep. They are always performing weekly shows in Dallas and promoting their music. It’s great to see these guys hustling for their dreams. Tanjim, Daniel and his wife, Sunny, all came from Arlington to chill with us for the shoot. These guys are all amazing and talented dancers and bboy/bgirls. Daniel, infact, won 1st place during the One Love Jam for Japan!
Jon, Minna, Meagan, and Felix showing their love in a more obvious way. Love you guys! Jon with the help of School Of Crows and Anybodys hosted the successful One Love Jam, which we were honored to be apart of.
Sutin (left), George, Tony, Thien, and Mauricio all grabbing some video footage for our upcoming “This Is Loyal K.N.G.” episode! We are actually working with Sutin and George on some pretty big projects involving skateboarding, and that’s going to be super-exciting! Tony actually lives in Oklahoma and was in Dallas for vacation, and spent his last day visiting Dallas with us at the shoot! Tony have since told me that he had an amazing time with us And I was more than happy to hear we could show him a good time before he headed back home!
Tony even wrote us an awesome story to summarize the entire day up. Note: We hosted the photoshoot on May 21st, the man-proclaimed rapture.
“Once upon a time.. in the land of Centre, A legend for-tales that on that day the world was bound to end. but a group of BRAVE knights called Loyal KNG‘s came to save the day, with that the group had great supporters and followers to come support they’re victory. And in the end, They partied and had a great time. THE END!” –Tony Phonephanh
Brought a tear to my eyes after reading this. Big thanks Tony!
Anna, Saul, Pedro, and a whole bunch of our friends all chilling while I grab shots of models! We actually met Pedro while he was DJing during Street Jam 2 last year, and it’s important to note that Street Jam 2 was our first time vendoring at a show. It still boggles my mind that even to this day we have such a great supporter base even as far back as day 1 for us.
Thien kicking it with long-time buddies and supporters, Peang, Andy, and Anh! Anh will be working with us a lot more during our Dallas tour, so summer is already setting off to be a banger!
Edison and Anna were our behind the scenes and model photographers for the day! Edison dropped in to help us last minute, and he came through even though he had to photograph a wedding later on the day. I’m super appreciative of Edison for always holding us down, even when he has the entire day all-planned out for work. Anna came out last minute also all the way from Fort Worth (1hr drive) to help us cover the photoshoot behind the scene photos… She’s such an amazing person, and that’s all y’all need to know about Anna! You will also be seeing more of Anna in our future too!
Throughout the day we had 4 waves of photoshoot session to accommodate all the new models arriving in. This was the second wave, and as you can see, it was getting rather hectic.
Of course we had the video cameras out, so our friends couldn’t help but SWAG out and do some cooking for our documentary coverage.
Our good friend, Bruce from Heat Seekers Krew, even came through to model. He just recently pulled off a legendary sneaker release during Sneaks Up that rocked the nation… Read more about it here.
Our homies, Omar and Amir, always showing us love and support! And now it’s our turn to show our buddies love by making them apart of our story in a BIG way!
Kevin and Andy came through rocking out like kings! Kevin is an amazing artists too! We actually featured one of his art work here on the blog!
Group shots are always fun!
Even Jalil came out to show some love!
Much love to ya’ brother. Jalil is an entrepreneur himself. He manages his own personal brand called “Timeless Appeal.” A brand about bringing back timeless cultural icons and re-presenting them in a Timeless Appeal way.
The official Loyal K.N.G. hand sign swag… You’ll be seeing it around more often!
Awwwww yeaaah! Hands up for a great time!
Our friend, Priscilla (2nd from left) even came through with her friends for the shoot! Always a pleasure to see her!
As the day was nearing it’s end, we had to grab a classic jump shot of our friends!
Ah yes, revenge served cold. Looks like someone is getting a taste of their own “1000 Years of Pain” medicine. Check the last photo of our One Love write-up here to see where this feud all started.
