We recently just wrapped up our visit to our good pals, Vynsie, Jully, and Derek, at We Are 1976 for the Go To Public School Art Gallery party, and, as usual, it was an amazing jam-packed time with music, art, people, and crazy-late-evening-antics. From crazy dancing, yummy hotdogs, free drinks, and an amazing DJ, we had an enjoyable time with our crew and friends.
Public School hails from Austin TX with a team of talented designers and photographers. The crew consists of Casey Dunn, Cody Haktin, Jay B Sauceda, Justin Cox, Matthew Genitempo, Shaun Lind, and Will Bryant. Public School aims to change culture through their unique style of design, illustrations, and photography, and from what I’ve seen, I can definitely see how they’ll do just that. Some pieces that I saw during the party reminisced of simplistic vintage style with a fresh modern take that gave a kick of nostalgia and a punch of personality.
Check out some photos I took of the event below:
This is Jully and Vynsie of We Are 1976! They’re some of the coolest and nicest folks we know in Dallas, so be sure to give the “We Are 1976” family a visit sometime at their boutique!
So many awesome merchandise, many of which are imported straight from Japan! You’re probably not going to find any of these cool products anywhere in Dallas, but We Are 1976.

Buttons, toys, and cheese?! I love it.
Hahahahaha… It’s a orange juicer with a ninja-twist!
Here’s a series of cool illustrations by the Public School team!

I love the theme Public School uses for their art influences. As hinted from the crew’s team title, a lot of pieces take their inspiration from School and all related activities!
