I receive a ton of emails everyday, some ranging from questions about starting up a brand, advertising, and event updates, but every once in a while I’ll receive an email that is rather unexplainable. I checked my email today and received a message entitled “VCR tapes,” and in the email, it read:
“I’m looking to purchase a VCR tapes of either birds or cats for my cat to watch.”
Now if you guys know anything about us, we own a brand, sell t-shirts, and blog about pop-cultural oddities, however, we do not have “VCR tapes of birds, cats,” or anything else for that matter in VCR format. It initially came off quite odd, then it quickly made me chuckle, but I realized maybe this email had deeper meaning then what I gave it credit for. After some pondering, I decided it was worth blogging about. I’m still not sure how to explain the oddity that is this email, but maybe we should go ahead an fulfill the sender’s request.
