Man, Sneaker Palooza was a blast, and what makes it a surprising success is the fact that Sole Boutique, a premium streetwear boutique, put this together as their first show. So being the first show thrown at this high caliber can definitely be a cause for anxiety, but from what we experienced during our trip, everything went as smooth as butter. And I’m already ready for Sneaker Palooza part 2! The event had many different exhibitions, such as Sneaker collections from renown collectors around the States, talented dancers and B-boys/girls, fashion show, art gallery, and hip hop rap performances. It was an event that was a must experience for the lover of this street-culture. The even was way to large to cover in just one post so I will cover each exhibit of the event in their separate posts. For now lets see what went down during the sneaker collections (part 1).
While we were wandering through the sneaker collections we ran into a friend of ours that we connected through Twitter, Dope Dave Perez of Laredo TX’s City Trends. He own his own premium streetwear retail in Laredo Texas, City Trends, and is also a popular DJ. If y’all are in the area make sure to hit up City Trends!
I never caught this guy’s name, but he had the SICKEST and RAREST sneaker collection of the entire sneaker gallery… He’s a true sneaker BEAST. Just look at these photos yourself to judge.

He also had one of the sickest vinyl toy figure ever…. Lebron James anyone?
