I’m sure all of you Left 4 Dead lovers must remember ilcannibal’s campaign, Dead City; the arguable one of the best custom campaign to have ever been released for L4D. Well, it’s just gotten even better with it’s final VPK8 release! If you already older versions of this campaign and enjoyed it, then this is something to definitely get your hands on. For L4D lovers that have yet to play through this campaign, then there’s not a better time then now to see what it’s like. Be warned, the file is 138 MB so be sure you have a nice bit of space.

Details: Kill plenty of zombies starting in RiverSide (city) then battlling through the Back Alleys, over a Draw Bridge, at a City Plants and during the escape at the Train Station.

Gametype: COOP & VERSUS:
* l4d_dcc01_riverside
* l4d_dcc02_backalley
* l4d_dcc03_bridge
* l4d_dcc04_plant
* l4d_dcc05_station

You will need to have WinRAR or compatible extracting program. All files downloaded will be using *.rar (filename.rar).

GAMEPLAY:
* Riverside City – Start off main road and fight off infected, stay alive as long as you can…
* Back Alley – After surviving the main part of the city, you are now in the parking lot paying toll. Here is where you will need to find cover. Don’t wonder off to far!
* Draw Bridge – You now have reach mid-point of the survival series, zombies will not allow you to leave with a good fight. Watch out for smokers, hunters and boomers…
* Power Plant – You have escape Riverside City, your next challenge is to stay together as a team,the ware house is your safe room, don’t wonder out to the road…you will fail.
* Subway Station – watch out for those trains. How long will you survive?

INSTALLATION:
1. This installation can be effected by old maps in the “left4dead/maps” folder.
2. Please delete all deadcity maps there
3. Including any old deadcity addon files located in the “left4dead/addons” folder.
4. These old files can cause conflict with new Source Add-on Files (VPK).

* EXAMPLE: l4d_deadcity , l4d_sv_deadcity and l4d_vs_deadcity mapnames “left4dead/maps”.

EXTRACTION:
* Automatically: Double Click on main “deadcity_survival.vpk”, steam Application will let you know when it is installed.
* Manually: Copy & Paste “deadcity_survival.vpk”, into your “left4dead/addons” folder.
