Ah, one of my favorite Left 4 Dead campaigns, I’ve come to enjoy: Death Aboard, developed and provided by Dipnuts. This has all the elements in to making a perfect playing experience, both gameplay wise, and graphically, in quality. Each of the 5 maps included in the campaign are made with a large attention to detail, and is sure to impress.

Even though this campaign is still in it’s beta stages, and has a few bugs left to be worked out, all in all, this is well worth trying for yourself.

1. Death Aboard (Beta 6.1)

Details: Chosen the name Death Aboard because your going to be on board of a ship. But you start out in a prison and work your way out to the nearest docks area, thereafter you get on board a stranded ship and finally to an island where there will be a lighthouse as a finale. – Dipnuts

Known problems:
Sometimes in coop starting items wont spawn at first round of map 4 and 5.
Sometimes in map 4, tank spawns on the island at the end and cant reach survivors.
There are places in map 4 where survivors can get stuck.
Sometimes survivors being knocked of the clip in map 5 survives the fall.
If a tank spawns in the beggining of map 5 he cant reach survivors
Version 6.0 and 6.1 is both treated as version 6 by l4d (meaning if you have both installed they will mix up)

Installation:
Unzip and doubleclick the .vpk file
(if you have previous versions of Death Aboard it would be wise to delete them before installing this)

How to Play:
After installing you’ll find Death Aboard in your add-on menu in left 4 dead
