A walkthrough of Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming title, Alpha Protocol, discussing some of the global conspiracies/storyline in the game, along with it’s gameplay. From what I can tell, this game is pretty much like a modern day Mass Effect that’s been watered down, and of course, it has quite a bit of polishing left to do if it wants to be recognized for anything but that.
Take on the role of Mike Thornton, an undercover agent who has been cut off.
As stated above, we follow Mike Thornton as our assumed hero. Though, for some unlistable reason, Mike just really dentures me from the game, other then it’s gameplay itself. It feels like they wanted to go for a more Gorden Freemen look, but really didn’t execute it to well (And, I’m sure we all can agree that Gorden Freeman is the man). Even the name “Mike Thornton” is very unappealing. I don’t know much about the details outside of this walkthrough, but I sure hope they let you at least customize Mike’s appearance.
Alpha Protocol will be available for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360, on 10/2009.
