Leafo has released his new campaign to the public: Silent Hill Part 1, though the campaign itself is still in it’s beta phase, though this shouldn’t keep you from trying out the maps. The campaign itself has been based off Silent Hill, made to satisfy it’s fans, and new players alike.

1. Silent Hill 1 (Beta 0.1)

Details: This is an beta release of my Silent Hill 1 campaign from the Playstation game. I am aiming to map the whole game.

This is an beta that contains 4 maps of this 10 map camaign. – Leafo

4/4 Maps Available – 90% Complete
– Silent Hill Town
– Silent Hill School
– Silent Hill Schoolalt
– Silent Hill Church

There are minor problems whit the daytime skybox, when you activate the flashlight, the Far Z Clip Plane get reduced even further. You can fix that by changing the shaders to medium,
thats it.

Place the folders at:
\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead

Dont play on expert if you are going to play whit bots, or you will get a hard time ahead of you.
Remeber, this is a survival horror, so you have to explore the maps to find, First Aid, Pain Pills and clues to advance further.

Some maps has their areas overhauled many times due to source limitations and nav errors, so it will look different. I decided not to use displacements, i wanted to keep the nostalgia from the Silent Hill game.

Ive tried to locate bugs my own and fix them, one thing left is that clocktower door that the source engine doesnt like, its an diagional door brush that might stop you from advancing (it is on “disable”), and sometimes you can just go trough as usual when its gone. – Leafo
