If you don’t want to waste your time just skip to 3:48 to see it walk, all the rest of the time the robot A-Pod is dry humping the ground. This critter is interesting though! It can move sideways, up and down, and possibly vertical.
A-Pod is an ant inspired hexa-pod robot with a 2 DOF abdomen (tail), a 3 DOF head with large mandibles. 6 legs with 3 DOF each. Total 25 servos. This video demonstrates body movement and mandible control. I still have to do some mechanical improvements to the legs (therefore little walking)
