Left 4 Dead Skins 4 Boomer & Tanks! Come’on Brighten Up Their Day!

Finally found some new skins for you guys.  A little something to spiffen up your Boomers, and Tanks.  Now you’ll actually be able to meet the actual Valve developer Gabe Newell (Boomer style)!

1. Gabe Newell Boomer (Skin created by Method)
Details: “The infection has spread to the Valve Software offices, and famed developer Gabe Newell has been turned into a zombie! Ohhh! Oh No!
shoutouts to the 186. Stay classy.
Installation Method:
EASY METHOD: (Not compatible with other custom skins)
1. Navigate to to this folder:
Steam\SteamApps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead
2. Make backups of “whitelist.cfg” and “pak01_dir.vpk”
3. Extract the entirety of the rar file’s contents to the folder. Overwrite files when asked. You’re done!”

2. Bright Aperture Tank (Skin created by Telum)
Details: “The lighter version of my tank for those who drop a load in their pants :P”
Instillation Method:
1.Put the hulk folder in “C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\materials\models\infected”
2.With Notepad ++, open the pak01_dir file located in “C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead”
3.CTRL+F and search for “$baseTexture “models\infected\hulk/Hulk_01” and change the 01 to 02.
4.Directly under the above should be $bumpmap “models\infected\hulk\Hulk_01_normal”, again change the 01 to 02.
To Uninstall simply undo steps 3 and 4.”

3. Dark Aperture Tank (Skin created by Telum)
Details: “Part of an Aperture Science research experiment, the ‘Tank’ quickly and uncontrollably gained a massive boost to his strength and size. An attempt to reverse the effect backfired when he started becoming mentally unstable and eventually began murdering people in an endless fit of rage.
Instillation Method:
1.Put the hulk folder in “C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\materials\models\infected”
2.With Notepad ++, open the pak01_dir file located in “C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead”
