In this starting of a possibly new daily series is a tribute to how awesome the 1980-1990’s were. The sad fact is though the 1990’s were the limelight of my life, a fact that I am quite proud of, that we will never live the 90’s again. I mean kids of the 2000’s will only have known the likes of Sponge Bob Square Pants oppose to the classics such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Friggin’ Turtles! I really love the 90’s, so I hope this daily series will be interesting for you frequent readers!
Let’s start it off with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
To me this series really combined everything I loved as a kid in one epic cartoon show! I mean who doesn’t like turtles? Or the color green? Or how about friggin’ pizza? I can assure you, that for a good portion of my younger years all I did was scream “COWABUNGA!” when the pizza got baked. I always love the kiddish antics of Michelangelo and the moody Raphael. I also had always felt that Donatello was more of a representative of me as a kid, since I was all nerdy and shit, but I digress, I was just a bummy kid. I remember being extremely ecstatic when my dad picked up some TMNT toys off from the local Goodwill (crummy ol’ place that sell crummy ol’ stuff). Too bad being a kid with toys equal a lot of lost toys, with that in mind, I lost a lot of toys. But TMNT will always be in my heart.
BONUS: THEME SONG TO THE ORIGINAL CARTOON SHOW. For The LULZ!
