Nowadays MMO’s are all generally the same. Dull, boring, point-click-a-di-click-click, and click. Everything is growing to far out dated. Even a huge chunk of the newest MMO’s in development lack in anything special, much less innovative. Looking back on all the MMO’s we have now, they’re all generally the same. Differed only by shear patience and graphics.
Why people bother with World of Warcraft still, I’ll never understand. In heart, it’s the most typical MMO out there. The gameplay consists of the old click this to kill this. But hey! Don’t you worry, your sword is bigger, so you can’t lose! Now just toss some average graphics in there, and you WoW. This goes for most all MMO’s out there in today’s market. You just so happen to have to pay for WoW.
MMORPG’s aren’t the only MMO’s that are lacking in luster either. Most, if not all, 1st/3rd person shooters out there are pretty similar to each other. And like MMORPG’s, are far from special. Generally they are all poor very poor in graphics, and use the tad outdated HP/AP gameplay. Personally, after playing Modern Wafrare/World at War, every other MMO shooter is just a downgrade, lol.
But there’s still hope to come. The newest generation of games are fixing to arive, and they not only look polished, but help innovate the MMO industry. No longer will we be subjected to pointing and clicking, and dull skill-lacking gameplay.
Now, lets get a fresh taste of what is to come (And there’s plenty more)!
