So please, help us and your fellow readers, by leaving a comment on what you think about our articles and/or thanks. Your opinion is important to us.
1. Big and Small (Created by Alexander Strahan)
This mod changes your appearance, depending on the amount of strength you have.
The higher your strength, the bulkier you get, while the opposite occurs when you choose to focus elsewhere.
2. Bodies Stay (Created by ziher)
Has it ever bothered you that when you kill something, it some how disappears? Well, with this mod, whatever you kill will stay there (like it should).
3. Basic Needs (Created by AnT01)
“Game Changes:
- Player will get a penalty if he don’t eat, drink or sleep. More or less regularly.
- Maximum time before the penalty will take effect calculates from Player Strength and Endurance.
- Penalty will increase with time, but will not be fatal.
- All counters are independent. Like drinking a beer will not reduce hunger level.
- Different food cause different effect. Like eating potato chips, will reduce your hunger, but not for long. Unlike juicy steak.
- Cannibal perk reduce Hunger. Hematophage perk reduce Thirst.
- Drinking surface water will reduce thirst level.
- Some drugs (like Jet or Psycho) will help you stay awake.
- Tiredness can be reduces only by sleeping in bad or taking drugs. Waiting will not increase Sleep Counter.
- Sleeping recovers only part of cripple effect (depends on Player parameters, Medicine skill and sleeping time).
- Some food type weight has been reduced. (Only in BasicNeeds.esp)
- To stay in normal condition you will need 2-3 food rations, 2 bottles of something, and sleep or wait 6 hours per day.”
In other words, this mod will make in-game life more realistic, with the necessity of eating and sleeping.
4. Better Stimpacks (Created by Slyvena1)
This mod will change how fast stimpacks heal you. No longer will they suddenly heal you instantly, but instead continue to heal you over time. (The higher your “Fast Metabolism” perk, the more health it heals.)
With Fast Metabolism perk:
- 6 health for 4 sec
- 2 health for next 3
- 3 limb heal for 7 sec
- 1 limb heal for next 23 sec
Without Fast Metabolism perk:
- 4 health for 5 sec
- 1 health for next 10
- 2 limb heal for 15 sec
- 1 limb heal for next 15 sec
5. Weight Rebalance (Created by ultimatheone)
It was clear to me within the first few minutes of playing, that the weight system was a bit unbalanced (not to mention unrealistic). Now with this mod, a nice big chunk of item’s will be revamped to be more realistic, anything/everything from spoons to a Motorcycle Gas Tank.
6. Sprint (Created by Lork)
Now, this is something that has bothered me during my whole play-through. The fact that you couldn’t sprint, itched at me to no end. But thanks to this nice little mod, you will now be able to sprint (given if you are willing to sacrifice some AP).
7. Repair Rethought (Created by Vocha)
Have you ever wondered why you could only repair weapons with only the same kind of weapon you want to repair? Well, I have a treat for you. With this mod, you’ll be able to repair your equipment using different components not just the same model weapon.
“Features:
- *Weapons and metal based armor can now be repaired by Scrap Metal.
- *Clothing and leather based armor can now be repaired by Wonderglue.
- *Weapons and armors that include wood can now be repaired with most wooden items.
- *Clothing and leather based armor can now be repaired by most fabric items.
- *All Schematic created items can now be repaired by the items needed to create them.”
8. Locational Damage (Created by mefiuuu)
This mod effects the amount of damage you do depending on the body part, for both you, and who your aiming at.
Changes:
- Arm Shot damage is now 15%, was 100%
- Leg Shot damage is now 20%, was 100%
- Head shot is now 200%, was 100%
9. Fill Bottle (Created by freemonkey92)
Now this is more of a given, why you couldn’t refill your bottles in the original game, I don’t know. But with this, you’ll be able to refill your bottles whether it’s Nukacola or alcohol bottles. You’ll be able to refill your bottles from pretty much any water source.
10. Jaynus Realism Overhaul (Created by jaynus)
Now this is what I call overhauling. This mod alone will effect your game in epic proportions. Everything from weapons, armor, leveling, food, sleep, graphics, and sounds.
This will make all those aspects more realistic, but due to it being a ongoing production, there will be more features to be added.
