S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadows of Chernobyl finally come down to a price that anyone can afford. With a simple download, and $5 of change, you’ll be playing one of the best games out there. Besides it’s nice to see some actual good deals coming out for games. With the prices they have nowadays we’ll eventually wonder: Whats more pricey? Your games, or your house?
For those who don’t know what S.T.A.L.K.E.R is all about, I’ll give you a quick debrief. “It features an alternate reality theme, where a second nuclear disaster occurs at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the near future and causes strange changes in the area around it”. The character you will come to play as, is a Stalker (illegal explorer/artifact scavenger), you pretty much go around collecting artifacts, and continue on the storyline at hand.
The game consist of a somewhat free roaming environment. Going where you want, when you want. Though some areas consist of anomalies, such as radiation/electric shocks/vortexs that pull you in and crushed. S.T.A.L.K.E.R also has a RPG element, where you customize your character and buy equipment.
All in all for 5 bucks, this is a steal for just about anyone (except if your dirt cheap). So go ahead, get the game, you won’t regret it.
