After playing through Fallout 3 bare boned, I must say it was quite the bit of fun. But I needed something more, something to spice up my play. What did I fine? Mods, mods, and more mods! Now I’ll be able to give you the best of the best of mods that I test out personally (and with the latest release of the GECK , there is sure to be plenty more where this came from). First will be the top 10 weapon mods!
1. AK-47 (Created by brurpo)
This replaces the Chinese assault rifle with a AK-47. With this baby things are just more sexy.
2. Desert Eagle (Created by Vashts1985)
Lets you use the Desert Eagle. You’ll find one by fighting high level raiders/some vendors.
3. Fat Man Giant Nuke (Created by Tony007)
Makes the regular 5m blast radius of the Fat Man increase. Alot. With this hawt mama, you won’t be popping a family, but their whole town with them!
4. Hunting Rifle (Created by Martius)
This re-skins the hunting rifle. Upgrades the look/sound of the gun. A major upgrade compared to the regular rifle.
5. Light saber (Created by Moraelin)
Now this is what I call sexy. Everyone at one point in time wanted a light saber, and now is the time you actually get one! It even comes in different colors~
6. M1911 (Created by Brurpo)
This lets you use the M1911. Uses the 10mm ammunition but has more punch then the 10mm pistol. You’ll be able to get one at Moria’s store. *slaps hinny* Now go out there and be somebody!
7. Molotov Cocktail (Created by Uncanny_valley)
Having only grenades to throw around get boring, so now there’s even Molotov’s to play with!
8. Throwing Knives (Created by Suijen)
Well as you guys might already have noticed, most of the melee weapons aren’t to useful due to their low range. But thanks to this mod, you can now throw them dealing major damage! (Creator of this mod also made one for a throw-able sledgehammer.)
9. Tsurugi Sword (Created by LordNapalm)

Just look at that thing. Its so sexy it takes up the whole screen! This is must have for all you FF7 fans, and those who just love huge swords. If you install this you’ll be able to find this weapon at Moria’s store.
10. Unique Junk Weapons (Created by Vergeh)
This is nice little package. Consists of 6 different unique weapons you can find in different places in the game (creation recipes are yet to be implemented). So this is a nice bundle for those who like to explore around. Now you’ll get something actually useful for your hard work!
