These are for those hardcore customers out there, that don’t just want a few packs of cheap batteries and usb’s, but the ones that are looking for that new TV, computer parts, or that fancy new laptops. (And anything else that cost’s some big bucks.)
Most of these deals, they have limited in stock. For example some places may have 5-10 of the product while another only 1-3. This all depends on what they are, and how much they cost. Items that are large/expensive are generally the first to go. Anyways whether you want to increase your chance of getting what you want, or just for the excitement of the holidays, we here at Loyal K*N*G are here to help you out.
1. Get there early! And when I say early, I mean early! From personal experience, I’ve seen people stay outside the store close to weeks before the store opens for Black Friday. Why? Because if your the first in, then your the first to get anything and everything you want. And with things being limited on supplies for the “best” deals, people have to be there quick before their all gone. To figure out how early you should stay depends of course on what you want and which store. Places like Bestbuy are always filled to the brim with people lining up at their doors (Actually thinking back on it now, it could be made into a Shawn of the Dead..), while stores like Old Navy, you might actually get mocked for staying out there. Once again this also varies on where you live. Is your city/town/ect heavily populated. The more people the more competition your going to have.
2. Don’t just do it alone, there’s power in numbers. Bring your friends and family, they can help you and morally help you get the time to pass by. They also do more then just help you. With a large group of people standing in line, all of which are “saying” their getting a certain product, can help you get people to not come and wait to get the product. Since the amount of people trying to get a product overrides how many are in stock. This may seem unfair, and it is, but don’t expect others to tell you the truth. Here’s a scenario. You want a new TV, but you can’t make it to the store at the moment, so you send your friends to wait there before the line gets to long. Doing so they can help save/keep your space in line.
3. Here’s how to figure out if someone is using tricks from tip 2. When you get in line, and there’s people in front of you, don’t be afraid of being aggressive. You are rightfully there and you know you are. Some people are nicer then others, but don’t get the idea that they aren’t playing with you. Ask questions, make conversation. When you make friends in the line, they will back you up when people are trying to cut, or slid on in (People that “say” their saving a spot for a friend, for example). Also doing this, people can officially save your spot, (at some point in time when you make enough friends you can help each other by getting food or supplies, for yourself and people around you, and still keep your spot). Better to have friends then enemies?
4. Come prepared. If your coming to camp out a day or two (or more..) then bring something to sleep in, remember its close to winter, so be sure to bring a something to keep you warm (Like every year, we bring ourselves a grill so we can cook something up, and lift our moral from the heat. Even help make friends). Also remember not everyone is going to let you come back in line even though you’ve been waiting there. So make sure you have everything you need before staying.
5. Be organized, make a list! With a long line of people, your not going to know who all are going to be in line, and who slipped their way in. So be sure to get you some paper and something permanent to write with. When the official line is made, pull those bad boy’s out of there and get everyone to write down their name/signature. Remember doing this you officially made the official list! So for now on anyone out of place is going to be kicked. This also is a way to counter people who are trying to pull a fast one on you. Oh yea, if not it might become something like this.
Hmm, must be giving free donuts.
6. Be careful of the things you do. You always want at least one person aware of whats going on. For example, if your sleeping at least have one person in your group awake so they are aware of where everyone is. This way no one can cut you or your group, or steal your supplies.
Hopefully some of these tips will help you out on getting the hottest deals of what you want. Last thing we want at the Loyal K*N*G is you, our readers, to get cheated of what you guys rightfully deserve. ;D
