Waiting for the End of the World by Lee Deaville. A Lonely Tale of a Apocalypse — The Night Shift.

Have to admit, I first thought this was a movie about a post-appocolypse world where the only guy alive was stuck in a imaginary world of a empty supermarket. Then I realized it was it was even worse then I thought — he has the night shift.

Asian (Silver) Carp Ownage with Mark Kirby & Brendan Kearns! Catching Carp by Making Them Fly!

Why put in all the money and effort in trying to catch fish with a regular fishing rod when you can just force them onto your boat by running them out of the water. In a way, Mark Kirby and Brendan Kearns are teaching the carps to fly.

Pervy’s Sketchbook #20: Leg, Torso, & Building the figure Studies from David Finch’s DVD & George Bridgman’s Books!
Funny thing here is that up till now I’ve been drawing with a .5mm mechanical pencil, but as you can see below the drawings change to a much lighter lead. Reason why is because I finally switched my .5mm pencil to the awesome 2mm lead holder! After seeing David Finch and Adam Hughes using the same lead holder, I just had to get one myself (At least they look the same anyways).
After tying it out for some time now, I can say it’s one of the best mediums for penciling I’ve found so far. My lines seem to be just that more controlled causing less scratching, and I love how you can change the length of the lead so you can transition from more loose penciling to tight without having to change your grip. Also nice that unlike a mechanical pencil with all the lines looking the same, and regular pencils that always need to be constantly sharpened, the lead holder combines the greatness of a regular pencil with a mechanical pencil to make a awesome baby.
Oh, and the picture below is drawn with a H2 lead, but I later changed to a HB lead that is just perfect for me. For those who are curious, the lead holder I grabbed was a Staedtler Mars 780 lead holder. But, I wouldn’t necessarily say go out and grab one, but definitely always try to see what is best suited for you.

Marvel’s “Premakes” The Avengers (1952) Trailer by Ivan Guerrero (whoiseyevan)!

For the sake of not ruining Ivan Guerrero’s amazing words of description, I’ll let his writing do all the talking (below)!
What if… the Avengers movie was created years before the actual comic book?
Lost in the annals of time and space, comes this magnificent motion picture of epic proportions. Taking a page from such horror classics as “Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman” and “House of Frankenstein,” Timely Atlas Studios (the precursor to Marvel Studios), created the first superhero movie team-up. “The Avengers” featured an awesome array of characters such as Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man in a larger-than-life battle against evil aliens from the planet Skrull. Face front true believers, this one is for the funny books!
Editor’s note: I have always wanted to work with Marvel characters… in any capacity. Maybe I will someday. For now though, enjoy my little tribute to works of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and the heroes of the Marvel Universe. Oh, here’s a fun thing to do… try and count all the characters and locations that are hidden within this trailer. Did anyone spot the Stan Lee cameo yet? I have a listing of all the Easter eggs in my next video. Excelsior! – Ivan Guerrero
Here’s the recipe for this trailer: Man and the Moon, Flash Gordon (Deadline at Noon), The Phantom Planet, Rocketship X-M, Star Trek (The Cage), Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, The Flying Saucer, Earth vs. the Flying Saucers, The 27th Day, Superboy, The Wasp Woman, Outer Limits (Demon with the Glass Hand, The Invisibles, Chameleon, Zzzzzz), Twilight Zone (The Monsters are Due on Maple Street), Anastasia, Underworld USA, The Amazing Colossal Man, War of the Worlds, The Avengers, Captain America, It Came From Outer Space, Invasion USA, King of the Rocketmen, Zombies of the Stratosphere, Radar Men from the Moon, Die Nibelungen (Siegfried, Kriemhild’s Revenge), The Man with Nine Lives, The Thing from Another World, Dr. Cyclops, The Marvel Superheroes (Hulk), Der gru?ne Bogenschu?tze, William Tell, Batman (Shoot a Crooked Arrow), The Eagle, The War of the Colossal Beast, The Gnome Mobile, Thunderball, The Dirty Dozen, Captain Scarlet, Fantastic Four (The Phantom of Film City), Our Man Higgins, Attack of the Puppet People, Land of the Giants (The Clones), Yilmayan Seytan, Tales of Frankenstein, Love Finds Andy Hardy, Das Rheingold, Fireball XL5, Stingray, Airport, Demetrius and the Gladiators - Ivan Guerrero
