Loyal K*N*G — Loyal K*N*G Brand Edition

The Loyal K.N.G. team gathered together to walk the streets of Austin TX during America’s largest music festival, SXSW. Our first day was a great experience meeting artists, new friends, and even old friends in the Streets of Austin. Music and culture was surrounding the downtown area in myriads of genre. It’s a beautiful environment to be in for inspiration along with a good memorable time!

Joonbug is the season finale of “Day-Time Dreamer, Late-Night Hustler” feature in our continuing documentation of Dallas legends. In this short film feature, we travel into the vibrant mind of Joonbug and his come up as an artist along with an insightful look into his own life’s philosophies. Whether it’s meeting strangers or creating experiences with people he has known for years, Joonbug is an extraordinary person always striving to leave an unforgettably mark to whoever he meets along his journey.

Joonbug has been a great friend of ours since we’ve started Loyal K.N.G. 3 years ago in 2010. It’s incredible to observe both our passionate endeavors grow and come into fruition through the years of working like mad men. We’ve collaborated together through brands, events, showcases, and art, and it is a true honor of ours to feature Joonbug as our ‘Day-Time Dreamer, Late-Night Hustler.’

During our first day trip into Austin TX for SXSW 2013 we headed up to our first SXSW hiphop show showcase at The Eastern bar hosted by our friends at Coffee Music Hub and Dirtbag Life! Through out the afternoon through the evening we had hip-hop acts from Dallas and Austin rock the stage! It was a great time for all of us as we co-sponsored our first SXSW hiphop showcase!

Last month we hosted with Lam Pham our first official event from our Loyal K.N.G. Cultural Event Line up entitled, The Grind! We invited all our dancers friends from all over Texas to drop down to Grand Prairie TX to compete and enjoy themselves at the celebratory event of our Spring 2013 Loyal K.N.G. release along with the The Grind! We had great music provided by our talented DJ Priest TD, awesome dancing Judges, and talented dancers vibing throughout the event! Catch us on the next The Grind, it’ll be bigger and better!

The Grind in it’s third year of fruition we joined forces with entrepreneur, Lam Pham, to co-host and present The Grind as part of our Loyal K.N.G. Culture Event series. It was an astounding success for the team to bring this event together with the great friends and supporters of the dance scene. With a record attendance of over 400 attendees, the event had dancers rocking and vibing in every corner of the venue! The Grind housed all kinds of different talented dancers from Bboys, Poppers, Lockers, and All-styles, along with dope sounds and music by our amazing DJ Priest TD! It was an unforgettable event, and we made sure to capture it in all it’s essence. We’ll catch y’all at the next Grind, it’ll be bigger and better!
