Rolling Stones “Like a Rolling Stone!” Basically The Best Shoot Out Song Ever. That or “Gimmer Shelter.”

rolling stones Rolling Stones Like a Rolling Stone! Basically The Best Shoot Out Song Ever. That or Gimmer Shelter.

Rolling Stones’ songs are like every where in the cinemas. When ever I’m flipping to some short of television show, such as Entourage, Flash Forward, and moar, or movies, such as ones directed by Martin Scorceses, I’m always hearing Rolling Stones songs being rocked. And how can you blame them? Rolling Stones are risk-free, it’s like an automatic cheesy, but awesomely cool scene in the making when you embed Rolling Stones’ songs. So I’m just going to leave this thread embedded with Rolling Stones’ “Like a Rolling Stone.” So does this make this post anymore cooler? Yes.

Kings of Leon “Use Somebody;” I’ve been roamin’ around Always lookin’ down at all I see

kings of leon

Today’s track of the day is “Use Somebody” by the Kings of Leon. And if you guys have heard this track, then you’ll probably understand just what make this song such a great listen. Everything is on point with this track, from the guitars, drums, to the buttery smooth vocals. Not much else I can say that hasn’t already been said.So with all that said, here’s the lyrics to the track so we can all sing together:

I’ve been roaming around
Always looking down
And all I see
Painted faces
Fill the places
I can’t reach

You know
That I could
Use somebody
You know
That I could
Use somebody

Someone like you
And all you know
And how you speak
Countless lovers
Under cover
Of the street

You know
That I could
Use somebody
You know
That I could
Use somebody
Someone like you…

Off in the night
While you live it up
I’m off to sleep
Wagin’ war
To shake the poet
And the beat

I hope it’s gonna
Make you notice
I hope it’s gonna
Make you notice

Someone like me,
Someone like me,
Someone like me, somebody.

Go and let it out…

Someone like you, somebody
Someone like you, somebody

I’ve been roamin’ around
Always lookin’ down at all I see

paul gilbertShawn Lane shreds Shawn Lane & Paul Gilbert Let It Be (NAMM 15th Jan 1993) A Beatles Cover w/ Guitar Shreds All Over The Place.

The kings of guitar shredding, Paul Gilbert and Shawn Lane, has joined forced in this epic Beatles’ tribute with “Let It Be.” These guys are living legends, and if you are any fans of rock and metal, then you most likely have heard of these guys. Paul Gilbert is just ridiculous with the way he rips through his guitar, and don’t get me started on Shawn Lane, the dude was a living prodigy before his unfortunate passing…Let this video be a reminder of what legends can do. Paul Gilbert and Shawn Lane are at the 1993 NAMM convention.

tubularbells Mike Oldfields Tubular Bells Video Live W/ Steve Hillage, Pierre Moerlen, Mick Taylor, & Moar!

Bringing back a little bit of musical rock-electronica-before-there-was-such-a-thing to you in the form of the great Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells! If one song was to be listed as one of the most innovative of it’s time, then Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bell of the early 1970’s would most certainly top that list! Tubular Bell was nothing anybody has ever composed or have even heard of during the 70’s and when Mike released this track during the 70’s it open doors to a completely new genre of music! The effect of this album trickled down even to the beginning of electronica-style of music and if anything help created it. Enjoy as Mike Oldfield plays Tubular Bells live with his friends, Steve Hillage, Pierre Moerlen, Mick Taylor, and more!

“Paul Gilbert – Silence Followed by a Deafening Roar” On The Ibanez Fireman! Paul Gilbert Forever.

paulgilbert ibanez fireman Paul Gilbert Silence Followed by a Deafening Roar On The Ibanez Fireman! Paul Gilbert Forever.

No matter how many times I tell myself, there is nothing like listening to Paul Gilbert play guitar. It seems like every time I listen to his tracks everything sounds new and fresh. His song, “Silence Followed by a Deafening Roar,” is one of his favorite songs I know, others are Viking Kong and Curse Of the Castle Dragon.
