Loyal K*N*G — Hipster Edition

Justice has been a crazy band too listen too, their combination of pop, rock, and electronica, into something so creative and catchy marks for a crazy audio-ride, and it’s no different with their track, “DVNO.” So here’s their music video, similar to the track itself, is all over the place with flashing graphics. Gotta love it all, Justice, baby!

The guys from Urban Outfitters has released their sweet new snuggie, the Booty Buddy Blanket! That’s right, for $68 bucks you can get your own hipster snuggie that could out-style anyone that dares to wear a snuggie.

All the coolest world leaders of our world join together to grow themselves their own hipster beards.  That’s right, Barack Obama is the new Mr.T, and Kim Jong Il of Korea, Stephen Harper of Canadan, Vladimir Putin of Russia, Nicolas Sarkozy of France, and even Fidel Castro of Cuba are joining in to grow in some hipster beard guns.

The French band, ‘Justice,’ has got me doing all kinds of funky movements with my hands with their track “D.A.N.C.E.” I love the way the lyrics uses phrases like P.Y.T. and A.B.C referencing back to Michael Jackson hit tracks. This song is the type of song that could make a party awkward, but to the understanding ear a dancing mania!

So for today’s song of the day, I decided to share some “Minus The Bear” and their “Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo” track. I just really love this track because of the amazing melodies derived from the guitar, and not to mention the amazingly relaxing singing. I feel like I could just stick this track on repeat and skate all day without a worry in my mind. Now if that doesn’t make for a good track I don’t know what does. Enjoy.

Rural Alberta Advantage has been on my musical rotation lately, and I thought I share one of my favorite track off their latest album, “Hometown,” entitled “Deadroads.” This song has a very upbeat vibe to it which exerts a happy vibrant vibe to their listeners, and I certainly need more of those feelings in my life. The guitar really add colors to this track, and along with the addictive crooning of  Paul Banwatt, “Deadroads” will ring in your mind for weeks on end.

Here’s a remix that just begs to be listened too! This remix was constructed by Don Diablo between the hip hop giant, Jay-Z, and the indie electro-pop success, Phoenix, in the track “99 Fences.” This track combines, to me, the best of both worlds. I can’t list out the amount of time I’ve had Jay-Z on rotation, nor of Phoenix and their newest album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. I totally get where this track is going, and it’s just wonderful. So take a moment out and chill to some good music.
