Greg Solenström ingeniusly put this amazing music video together depicting the lyrics in motion of Jay-Z and Lil Wayne on “Hello Brooklyn”. It’s no doubt a creative way to place emphasis on the words that Jay-Z and Lil Wayne has to say about Brooklyn, NY. Definitely a must watch for any fans of these two artists and hip hop.

The Niceguys and Jack Freeman on the amazing vocals have joined forces for one of the dopest music video to drop in a while! The theme of this music video to the track “Not At All” is how to create a hip-hop video. With many witty and clever moments in the video poking fun at the over-used and abused cliche of hip-hop music video productions, it’s not hard to see why this fresh concept is getting love from everyone. The Niceguys does an amazing job at bringing the listener some great lyrics and charm to enjoy. But one of the most refreshing part of this music video, in my opinion, is our friend, Jack Freeman, on the vocals and chorus. Jack’s performance really accents and heighten the quality of the track and meshes perfectly with the strength of The Niceguy crew. Definitely one of the most anticipated group to come out of Texas, keep your eyes and ears out for these guys!

Kanye West’s “Power” featuring Dwele has been in circulation for a minute these days, and since then I have yet to post up this track on our site. So here’s the track for your listening pleasure. Kanye comes out with a powerful force in a form of a musical soundtrack. The beats and lyrics strikes hard and lets the listener feel the overpowering anthem that Kanye exudes!

So get this, we ran into Donnis a few months back during one of our Texas tour. During our visit to Austin, TX, we visited Sole Fresco, low-and-behold, we ran into Donnis! If y’all don’t know already, Donnis is a super-talented up-and-coming hip hop artist. And just recently he has released his newest mixtape entitled “Fashionably Late“. Donnis is a super-chill dude, and we were definitely ecstatic to meet the guy behind all the fresh tracks we had on rotation.

Donnis’ “Fashionably Late” mixtape proves his continuous growth  as an artist. The mixtape is full of original production beats by Needlz, and there are even some big-name cameos from GOOD music artists, such as Tony Williams,  John Legend, GLC and more. For anybody in need of some fresh, fresh hip-hop, then I urge y’all to check out his newest mixtape, “Fashionably Late“.

Loyal K.N.G.’s Trung had to grab a photo with the man-himself, Donnis!

Daichi, a Japanese human beat-box extraordinaire, is bringing the heat on this televised performance of some of his most intricate beat boxing skills. The ways he controls the various strands of beats and hums consistently sends Daichi into the realm of unbelievability. If anything, DAICHI creates music that is both a phenomenon and addictive enjoyment for any fan of hip-hop and music.

Kid Cudi has been through a lot lately, for example, his recent run in with the police for being involved with illegal substances, but he’s back now with his newest 2010 single release entitled, “REVOFEV (Revolution of Evolution).”  Kid Cudi croons his trademark chorus as he raps about the usual ordeal that we may find on his freshman album, Man on the Moon. Additionally, his newest track showcases a fresh production, which hits hard and compliments Kid Cudi’s style completely.

Jamil Kelley is a local Dallas, TX, hip-hop artist that has been working hard on his craft, and it shows greatly in his mixtape, “Flomogenic.” The tape is laced with various samples from Pink Floyd’s album, which gives the mixtape a fresh approach into a mixmash of genres. Just J and Wisdm O.N.E. are both upcoming hip-hop artists that are bringing their A-game to the market. There’s just a refreshing old-school vibe to their rapping, chorus-hits, and instrumental productions, that makes their music so easy to listen to over and over. Nowadays it’s difficult to hear something fresh from artists, but Just J and Wisdm O.N.E. are totally bringing in some of the most potent tracks I’ve have heard in a long while from an indie group. And it just so happens that they have officially launched their music video to their 2010 album’s (Sound Soltice) first single entitled “The Goodness.” The video production on this is super-dope, and coupled with the tight track, I just can’t help but smile when watching this music video! It’s a must watch for any TRUE hip-hop head.

Check out my homie, T.A., an very talented upcoming hip hop artist hailing from Austin, TX. He just recently released his latest mixtape entitled, Monsta In the Attic, and after giving it a few listens, I see alot of great potential. T.A. drops in with fun lyricism on top of familiar and fresh production beats that makes for a great listening session. I was never bored and felt that for a mixtape, it served well for some hip hop entertainment! Definitely a must listen too. I’ve had the pleasure of kicking it with T.A. during a trip to Austin, and he’s a super-down-to-Earth dude. We also caught T.A.’s live performance with Pac Div during the 2010 Austin SXSW festival. To say the least, the event went down nicely, and can’t wait to meet up with my friend next time we hit up Austin!

T.A. is a member of the Austin Quartet rap group “Team Next”. In March of 2009, they performed alongside “Pac Div” at an official SXSW concert. After countless mixtapes, and albums, they have recorded solo projects in 2009, and 2010. Monsta In The Attic is T.A.’s 2nd solo mixtape (1st-”Trill Life”-2009), and it does not dissapoint.
