After wrapping up our time spent at this year’s Anime Matsuri 2012, I’ve finally compiled a few of the photos I’ve taken during our visit. With people from all around the state traveling to Woodland, TX, dressed up as their favorite anime and pop cultural icons, it made for an adventurous evening seeking out all these unique and creative cosplayers out. Besides all the cool cosplayers that were out and about, there were many events that took place in the convention that pertained to gaming tournaments, dancing events, raves, and even a cool Japanese rock concert and fashion show. Although the definite highlight of the day for us was experiencing DJ Heavygrinder on the DJ turn tables. She absolutely rocked the night, and showcased a great energy that spread throughout the night.
