Loyal K.N.G. Winter 2011 Series Design Break-Down!

Previously, we dropped our official Loyal K.N.G. Winter 2011 line lookbook and short film right before Christmas came around. And with our new series continuing our trademark design-quirks themed with new ideas, inspirations, and art, I’m excited to show you guys a little bit of behind the scenes in regards to what inspired our latest series drop! Be sure to check out the line from our Online Store and pick up anything you would like. All shirts and sweats are limited, and sizes are moving fast!

“Atamahawk”

Our classic Atama mascot returns this season as an inspired Atlanta Braves-themed design. Now that Atama has gotten his feathers, he’s just chief’n his way to your adornment. Rad!

“Mojo Power”

In our “Mojo Power” design, the creative team came up with a cool tie-in with the king ape, Caesar of the “Planet of the Apes” film, Mojo Jo Jo, and the “Power” music video by Kanye West. This design is all about the small details, symbolism, and the story that is waiting to be deciphered. This was our way of paying homage to all the things we love from movies, cartoons, and music.

“Toon Raider”

Whether it’s robbing tombs, taking loots and spoilers from raided treasures, or just being a warrior, here at Loyal K.N.G., we’re just being rebelliously intelligent. Here’s a design that returns a classic reinterpretation of the one and only raider from the west.

“Robomon”

Ever wonder what would happen if a popular Japanese cat became the defender of the city as the cyborg, Robocop? Well, here how it would be, our very own Robomon.

“L.K.N.G. Script”

In this design, we introduce for the first time our “L.K.N.G. Script” design with our very own custom Camouflage pattern inspired by our Season 1 “A Brainy Ape” tee.

“Hip-Hop Movement”

Hip-hop inspires us. And what better way to add some hip-hop flavor than adding a touch of lyrical philosophy spoken by the one and only hip-hop original emcee, KRS1. Our “Hip-Hop Movement” design bridges the gap of hip-hop lifestyle all in under one piece, whether it’s music, dancing, sports, or style, this piece unifies what I love so much about the Hip-Hop culture.

“Atama Chain”

Inpired by Kanye West’s horus chain from his “Power” video, we took the concept and ran with it using our mascot, Atama, as the main focus.
