Jim Carrey: Canadian Comedian & American Legend – A Review Of My Childhood Comedian Favorite

The name is Jim Carry. Film actor, comedian, and artist.

Carrey started out his career performing stand-up comedy. And In 1994, he gained renown acknowledgement when Carrey starred as the title character in “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”. However, even before his comedy film hits, Carry was mostly known for his role in “In Living Color” and the Golden Globe winning performance in the 1994 film, “The Mask”. Through the years, he has brought many laughs and smiles to his audience, and an undeniable sense of happiness and enjoyment. I remembered watching “The Mask” and thinking, “this guy is crazy”, but that’s what set him apart from a lot of comedians, his aptitude to convince the viewers that he was the living, breathing being in his wild and unpredictable comedic characters. It’s nearly impossible to compare Jim Carrey’s comedic genius with any other comedian because he has created a niche that separates him from the rest. There is no doubt that this Canadian comedian will go down with the greats when his time is due. Besides his comedy, Jim Carrey also has a fashion sense, and this wouldn’t be a “DAcocoknows” blog without a look into fashion and style. Here’s an in-depth look into a very fashionable comedian.

Here we have Carrey sporting a black long sleeve button up with a light heather grey blazer. Black on gray with some black mirrored aviators, good choice.

This look is a bit more simplistic but hey, less is more right? Plus the black and red pined blazer is on point. I wonder where he bought it, or how much he paid for it.

And of course you can’t have Jim Carrey and fashion in the same sentence without talking about how swaged out he was in “The Mask”. Here “The Mask” is wearing a white dress button up with the black lace near the edge of the collar. A multi-pattern black tie (mostly polka dotted) is there to compliment his polka dotted handkerchief. To top this look off, Carrey rocks a mustard colored blazer with a matching colored hat complimented by a nicely pinned black and yellow feather. Oh yeah, and I can’t forget to mention the green Loki mask, of course. Nothing pulls the zany, wacky, but iconic outfit together more than the infamous mask of Loki!
