Air Jordan III (3) is hands down my favorite Jordan sneakers, and I’m quite sure a lot of Jordan fans will say the same. The Air Jordan 3’s were released on the year 1988, which happened to be the year I was born on. This legendary sneaker introduced the iconic elephant print to the world, and is now one of the most timeless design pattern ever schemed. It goes without saying that this sneaker has made it’s mark in history. And with June 4th, 2011 marking the release of the “True Blue” Air Jordan 3 colorway, a lot of sneaker-heads will be fiending for these gems, myself included.
A while back I designed a collaborative shirt with our friends over at San Antonio’s Sneaks Up where I featured tons of iconic comic book heroes cameos tossing up some of my favorite Jordans (Jordan III, VI, XI). But to be more specific, I featured the Jordan III “True Blues” at the forefront being held by my favorite super hero, Spider-man. I designed this aspect of the shirt to prepare for the Air Jordan III “True Blue” drop. Now here’s a shirt with some of the most iconic super heroes ever created mix-mashed with the classics Jordans, and with the release of the “True Blue” nearing, makes this shirt an item that must be rocked out together.
