One Love was a huge event and we kicked it with tons of cool folks, so I definitely had to split the coverage into 2 parts (first being here). With folks coming through showing their competitive dance performances or their love for Japan through generous donations, it was an evening that marked a great beginning for our May 2011. One Love was helped organized by tons of great folks like Jonathan Wind-Master, Tanjim Rahman, Daniel Choi, and the rest of the School of Crow x Anybody members.
One of the greatest things about being able to come out to events, jams, and shows, is being able to meet and make new friends. And for us, it’s always great to kick it with all our old homies, and as a cherry on top, we’re given the great opportunity to make new friends. It’s absolutely wonderful when an event brings folks from all over the city and surrounding area under one building. This allows us the chance to bridge the gap between people who we’re already friends with to goofing around with new folks who we’ve just met, and at the end of the evening we’re just one big family of big smiling faces.
