Dallas TX Art Walk 2011 in Deep Ellum! A Massive Street Gallery of Paintings!

Dallas TX’s annual 2011 Art Walk is filled with so many venues full of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and quirky, fun artists representing their craft. So I decided to take the team along with a few of our friends to tour the Dallas’ Art Walk for the evening and educate ourselves in the diverse art-culture that local Dallas artists are putting out! From streams of live-paintings on the streets to entire apartment complex remodeled into a pop-up gallery for each of the artists’ home, it was a memorable and fun time to relax and just see what was behind each unopened door.

Our friends, Jennifer and Valerie, shows some love for all the hearts on the wall.

Two thumbs up for random parked cars owned by rich folks.

While we were walking the streets, we ran into our buddy, Jerry!

Larry and Ryder, two very cool kids!

This is Heather Helen Ray, she’s the amazing artist behind all these beautiful charcoal paintings. Heather is obviously a fan of Hitchcock, seeing how her inspiration to create an entire piece dedicated to the movie thriller, “The Birds“.

The Birds, indeed.

Here are some great pieces by Vanessa of NREAZON. What I love most about her unique and vibrant paintings have to be the Japanese anime-esque influences.

The art walk just so happened on Vanessa‘s birthday, so I’ll take the time out to give her a happy birthday shoutout…. Happy Birthday!!!
